Baltimore Ravens sign veteran safety Rayshawn Jenkins

The Baltimore Ravens are signing veteran safety Rayshawn Jenkins to bolster their secondary. Jenkins, a 10-year veteran, joins the team following his release from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jenkins brings significant experience to the Ravens, having made 145 career appearances and 93 starts. His addition comes as Baltimore seeks more stability in its passing defense, which currently ranks 16th in passing yards allowed per game. The move follows a recent performance where the Ravens' defense allowed 284 passing yards against the Cincinnati Bengals.

This signing continues Jenkins’ tenure within the AFC North, as he also played for the Cleveland Browns last season. He is expected to provide depth behind existing safeties Kyle Hamilton, Malaki Starks, and Jaylinn Hawkins.
