Baltimore tests new traffic patterns near M&T Bank Stadium
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation is launching a pilot program to address post-game traffic congestion near M&T Bank Stadium. Following a Baltimore Ravens game, officials will implement a new traffic pattern designed to improve flow and reduce delays in surrounding neighborhoods.
Under the new plan, two eastbound lanes will exit Lot H onto West Street, continuing eastbound before turning right onto Hanover Street. Hanover Street will operate with two southbound lanes between West and Wells streets. Baltimore police and transportation enforcement personnel will be present to manage the transition.
Certain parking restrictions will remain in effect during stadium events, including prohibitions in specific residential permit areas on West and Hanover streets. Officials will monitor the effectiveness of these adjustments to determine if they should be adopted for future games.
