Bam Adebayo addresses LaMelo Ball incident ahead of preseason

Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo addressed his past encounter with LaMelo Ball ahead of an upcoming preseason matchup. Adebayo noted that while he does not carry hate, he does not intend to forget the incident.

The conflict stems from an April 14 play-in game where Ball was assessed a flagrant-2 foul by the NBA for contact the league described as “unnecessary and reckless.” The incident occurred during a game that resulted in Charlotte winning and ending the Heat’s season. Ball was also fined $35,000 for the foul and an additional $25,000 for profanity during a post-game interview.
