Bamba Dieng's England move sparks race between Hull City and Middlesbrough

Both Hull City and Middlesbrough, fresh from a Championship playoff final victory, are competing to sign the 26‑year‑old striker. Dieng impressed in the 2025/26 season with 16 goals in 26 appearances, including ten in Ligue 1, and earlier topped the Senegal Premier League with 12 goals in 14 games.
