Bambang Soesatyo affirms 2024 election validity after MK ruling

Bambang Soesatyo, a member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres), has affirmed that the results of the 2024 Presidential Election remain valid following a Constitutional Court (MK) ruling regarding Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Speaking after a Wantimpres plenary meeting at the State Secretariat Ministry, Soesatyo emphasized that the court's decision must be respected. He noted that the election results have undergone a long political process, and both President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran have already been inaugurated. He stated that the matter is no longer within the jurisdiction of the Constitutional Court and that no party can change the established election results.
