Bambi Lok leaves TVB acting career to relocate to Canada

Rising TVB actress Bambi Lok has announced her decision to step away from her acting career in Hong Kong to relocate to Canada. Lok, who recently appeared in the series ‘Goddess of Justice’ alongside Charmaine Sheh, shared the news via social media, stating she has been living in Canada for approximately one month.

Lok described the move as a way to ‘reset’ her life and explore possibilities beyond the entertainment industry. She is currently pursuing studies in psychology in Canada. Reflecting on her journey, she noted that while she had achieved significant opportunities early in her career, she felt the need to step out of her comfort zone to avoid losing her future to the fear of losing what she currently possesses.

Before her rise as a promising newcomer, Lok worked multiple part-time jobs, including roles as a wedding assistant, model, and restaurant server, to support her acting ambitions. Despite facing mixed critical reviews for her acting style in recent projects, she received support from producer Chung Shu-kai and has since transitioned to a new chapter of life abroad.
