Bamboo Insurance Services files for IPO on NYSE

Bamboo Insurance Services, a Midvale, Utah-based technology-enabled insurer, has filed a Form S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering. The company intends to list its Class A common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol BMB.

Bamboo describes itself as a capital-light managing general underwriter focused on homeowners insurance, utilizing AI, data science, and advanced analytics to manage functions across the insurance value chain. The company reported six-month revenues of $173 million, an increase from $124 million the previous year, while managed premiums nearly doubled to $451 million.

A portfolio company of CVC Capital Partners, Bamboo was acquired from White Mountains Insurance Group in October 2025 for $1.8 billion. J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley are set to serve as joint lead bookrunning managers for the offering, with Deutsche Bank Securities, Evercore ISI, and Wells Fargo Securities acting as active bookrunning managers.
