Bamiyan launches 40th anniversary food fair in Japan

Chinese food chain Bamiyan has launched its 40th anniversary celebration, titled the ‘Xie Xie Bamiyan’ fair, running from September 10 to November 22, 2026.

A central feature of the campaign is the new ‘Thick-cut Chashu Miso Bamiro Soba,’ a rich noodle dish utilizing Hokkaido miso, three selected miso varieties, and peanut paste, topped with back fat, minced garlic, and black garlic oil.

The fair also includes various Mala Tang options, such as the ‘Red and White Dim Sum Mala Tang’ and a soy milk-based ‘White’ Mala Tang. Other menu additions include authentic Sichuan Mapo Tofu and a white Mapo Tofu variety featuring shrimp, Chinese taro, and yam.

Additionally, Bamiyan is collaborating with Lotte to offer dessert items using Lotte’s ‘Asia ni Koishite’ Brown Sugar Oolong Milk Tea ice cream, including a ‘China Sunday’ and honey fried bread topped with the ice cream.
