Ban Me Thuot Diocese holds training course for young priests

The Ban Me Thuot Diocese held a regular training course for young priests from August 17 to August 19, 2026. The program, attended by 140 priests from various cohorts, focused on the theme “Priests and Relationships.”

During the opening address, Bishop John Baptist Nguyen Huy Bac emphasized that navigating relationships is a core mission for the priesthood. He noted that trends of secularization and consumerism have complicated the interactions between priests and the laity, religious orders, and authorities. The Bishop highlighted six key areas of relational focus: relationships with parish priests, parish councils, religious sisters, and the laity, urging priests to maintain balance and sacredness in these connections.
