Banana Brother wins Golden Bell Award for children's programming

Lin Lun-yuan, known professionally as Banana Brother, won the Children and Youth Program Host Award at the 61st Golden Bell Awards for the program ‘A-Hou’s Mission’ (阿猴出任務), which he co-hosted with puppeteer Lin Chang-fu.

During a celebration, Lin shared that he watched the ceremony via livestream while working in Pingtung. He expressed deep emotion over the win, noting it was his first Golden Bell Award in 16 years. He credited his recent professional growth to a shift in mindset over the last year, where he began communicating his own ideas more proactively rather than simply following instructions.

Lin also highlighted the support of his family, noting that his wife and son met him at the station with celebratory banners after his work engagement. Additionally, he expressed gratitude for a congratulatory message from veteran presenter Chang Hsiao-yen.
