Banater Schwaben celebrate summer festival in Schwabach

The Roth-Schwabach district association of the Banater Schwaben celebrated its summer festival at the St. Peter und Paul Catholic Church Center in Schwabach. The event featured cultural performances, including traditional dances by a Nuremberg dance group in Banat costumes.

During the festivities, Schwabach Mayor Peter Reiß praised the group's commitment to the local cultural landscape. State Parliament member Karl Freller also addressed the gathering, highlighting the social engagement of the Banater Schwaben and Siebenbürger Sachsen communities in Germany. The event was supported by the Banater Schwaben Cultural Work e. V. using funds from the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labour and Social Affairs.
