BanBajío opens 53rd branch in Guanajuato

BanBajío has inaugurated its Murano branch in Irapuato, marking its sixth office in the municipality and its 53rd location within the state of Guanajuato. The expansion aims to support the economic growth of the Bajío region by providing financial services to individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), agribusinesses, and government entities.

The opening ceremony included Carlos Valdez, Divisional Director for Bajío, and Miguel Ángel Fonseca Gutiérrez, the Municipal Treasurer of Irapuato. Fonseca Gutiérrez noted that the municipal government utilizes the bank's financial services and praised the institution's efficiency and service quality.

Bank executives stated that the decision to expand in Irapuato is driven by the city's strategic importance and its capacity for value generation across various productive sectors. BanBajío, founded in 1994, currently operates 339 branches across 29 states in Mexico.
