BanBajío to complete new solar-powered tower in León by 2028

BanBajío has announced plans to complete its new corporate tower in León by 2028. The project is currently in the excavation phase, with metal infrastructure deployment expected to begin in late October.

The building is designed to be approximately 40 stories high and aims to achieve LEED Platinum certification, making it the first building of its kind in the Bajío region. To support energy efficiency, the tower will feature solar cells integrated directly into the window glass, along with advanced cooling and water catchment systems that utilize the structure's height and airflow.
