Banca del Fucino becomes title sponsor for Italian fencing circuit
Banca del Fucino has become the first title sponsor for the Federazione Italiana Scherma (FIS) national circuit dedicated to Under 17 and Under 20 categories. This partnership is part of an agreement naming the bank an Official Partner for the 2026/2027 sporting season, focusing on competitive, institutional, and promotional activities.
The circuit begins on November 6 and 7 in Catania with the first national epee test. Subsequent stages include Ferrara in late November for sabre and foil, followed by Rome in February and Riccione in April. These competitions will determine qualifiers for the Banca del Fucino Italian Cadet and Youth Championships, scheduled for May 2027 in Rome.
Luigi Mazzone, President of the FIS, welcomed the collaboration, noting its support for the youth movement in fencing. The bank stated that supporting young athletes aligns with its commitment to community development and the values of respect, dedication, and inclusion.
