Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena opens Rocca Salimbeni for cultural festival

Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena is opening its historic headquarters, Rocca Salimbeni, to the public for the “È Cultura!” festival. The initiative, promoted by ABI and ACRI, aims to highlight the banking and financial sector's role in Italy's cultural and social growth.

On Saturday, October 17, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, the bank will offer free guided tours without the need for prior reservation. Visitors will follow a 30-minute route through significant architectural spaces, including the Fondaco, the Cortile della Dogana, the staircase designed by Pierluigi Spadolini, the Peruzzi Gallery, and the Pinacoteca.

The tour also provides access to the bank's prestigious art collection, which features paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts created primarily by Sienese artists between the 14th and 19th centuries. Entry will be managed in groups of 20 to 25 people via Piazza Salimbeni n°3.
