Bancamiga expands financial inclusion in Amazonas, Venezuela
Bancamiga has conducted a financial inclusion operation in Puerto Ayacucho, Amazonas state, to integrate local citizens and workers into the formal banking system. During a continuous four-day period, the bank's mobile unit successfully registered 477 transport workers and 41 individual citizens.
The initiative aims to modernize commercial activities in the region by providing access to banking products in both bolívares and foreign currencies. A key component of this effort is the Movi by Bancamiga service, a digital, contactless solution designed for the collection and payment of public transport fares.
Currently, the Movi service is active in urban routes across Gran Caracas, Altos Mirandinos, and eastern Venezuela, with plans for future expansion to other routes.
