Banco Atlas and TECHO Paraguay build five emergency homes in Areguá

Banco Atlas, in partnership with TECHO Paraguay, completed a volunteer initiative on August 8 and 9 to construct five emergency homes for families in the 3 Reyes community in Areguá. This event marks the sixth consecutive year of collaboration between the two organizations, a partnership that has benefited more than 45 families since 2021.

Approximately 60 employees from Banco Atlas, Atlas Seguros, and Atlas Inversiones participated in the construction process alongside the beneficiary families. Beyond housing, the initiative provided free medical care through Atlas Seguros and Inmedical, distributed books collected by employees, and conducted a first aid workshop that included the distribution of kits to participating families.

Hernando Lesme, General Manager of Banco Atlas, participated in the activities, noting that the bank views sustainability as a strategic axis. He stated that the bank contributes to housing access through financial programs and extends this commitment through its alliance with TECHO Paraguay to support vulnerable families.
