Banco BHD recognized for economic support in Duarte Province

Banco BHD has received recognition from the Association of Merchants of the Duarte Province during the Expo Mayorista 2026. The award, presented to Luis Molina Achécar, president of the BHD Financial Center, highlights the institution's support for the national productive sector and its contribution to the economic development of the Dominican Republic.

During the event, which was attended by Vice President Raquel Peña, Molina Achécar noted that San Francisco de Macorís accounts for approximately 32% of the economic activity in the Northeast Cibao region. He reaffirmed the bank's commitment to strengthening commerce and supporting sustainable growth through various business initiatives.

Separately, in celebration of its 54th anniversary, Banco BHD honored 997 employees for their long-term dedication to the institution. The recognition included staff members with careers ranging from five to 50 years of service, emphasizing the bank's focus on corporate culture and employee loyalty.
