Banco BICE sues Tonka Tomicic over Vitacura property

Banco BICE has filed an executive lawsuit against television presenter Tonka Tomicic to demand the immediate restitution of a property in Vitacura, along with three parking spaces and two storage units. The legal action is being processed in the Seventh Civil Court of Santiago.

The dispute stems from a leaseback agreement initiated years ago, where Tomicic sold the property to the bank to obtain liquidity while continuing to reside in it as a tenant. Following a legal process to terminate the contract that began in October 2025, a deadline for the handover of the premises was set for September 6, 2026. According to the bank, this deadline was not met.

This legal situation arises as Tomicic continues her television career at Mega and has publicly discussed facing financial difficulties. The lawsuit seeks the return of the real estate either immediately or within a timeframe determined by the court.
