Banco Caribe hosts annual forum to promote social inclusion

Banco Caribe held its annual forum, ‘Gente Caribe Sin Barreras’, at the Centro Olímpico Hall of Fame Auditorium in Santo Domingo. The event, themed ‘Embajadores de Esperanza’ (Ambassadors of Hope), focused on recognizing individual capabilities and removing barriers to full social and economic participation.

Executive President Edgar Del Toro emphasized the bank’s commitment to ‘Banca Responsable’ (Responsible Banking), stating that the institution aims to make decisions that consider people’s realities to foster greater participation in the country’s economic life. Franceska Luna, Vice President of Human Resources, noted that inclusion must be integrated into institutional decisions, customer service, and the creation of development opportunities.

The forum included leadership presentations, artistic performances, and personal testimonies designed to highlight how support and access to opportunities can transform lives.
