Move Brasil program becomes permanent for driver vehicle credit

The Move Brasil program, which provides credit lines for taxi drivers, app drivers, and delivery workers to purchase new vehicles, has become a permanent initiative following presidential sanction. The program aims to facilitate fleet renewal and improve energy efficiency by including hybrid and electric vehicles.

The National Monetary Council (CMN) updated the regulations to align with Law 15.503/2026, removing previous time limits that threatened to interrupt operations. This ensures the continuity of the R$ 30 billion credit limit provided through BNDES-authorized financial institutions.

Key financial conditions include interest rates of 12.6% per year for men and 11.5% for women. The program allows for financing vehicles up to R$ 200,000 with maximum terms of 84 months. Officials noted that the program has already seen significant execution, with billions in credit allocated to support professional drivers and improve productivity.
