Banco Ciudad opens registration for 27th photography contest

The 27th edition of the “Gente de mi Ciudad” photography contest is now open for entries. Organized by Banco Ciudad, the competition invites amateur and professional photographers, as well as civil associations, to submit works that capture the social customs and identity of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

Participants may submit up to two works in color or black and white, provided each photograph includes at least one person and specifies a geographic location. Submissions must be in JPG format, with a maximum resolution of 1600 pixels on the longest side and a file size under 2 MB. Photomontages are prohibited.

The selection process involves two pre-selection stages followed by a final selection. A jury including Facundo Zuviría, Cecilia Szalkowicz, Francisco Medail, and Helena Ferronato will choose winners for three acquisition prizes and 17 additional selected works. A public vote will also determine a special mention. Winning acquisition prize works will become part of the permanent artistic heritage of Banco Ciudad, and the final exhibition will be held at the Museo Benito Quinquela Martín in La Boca.
