Metileo to auction 16 municipal land plots with financing

The municipality of Metileo will hold a public auction this coming Saturday at 10:00 AM to sell 16 municipal land plots located on Calle 2, between streets 7 and 11. The auction will take place at the corner of Calle 2 and Calle 9.

Each lot has a base price of 12 million pesos and is intended for residential use, allowing for the construction of homes or commercial premises. The plots are equipped with electricity, provided by the provincial government, and potable water, funded by the municipality.

Mayor Carlos Marchisio stated that buyers can pay a 30% down payment (3,600,000 pesos) to obtain possessory rights, with the remaining balance payable in up to 12 fixed monthly installments of 700,000 pesos. A 6% commission applies. To encourage local residency and prevent speculative business, buyers are required to fence the land within six months and are prohibited from selling the property for five years following the deed transfer. The deed will be issued at the buyer's expense upon completion of the final installment.
