Banco da Amazônia to present bioeconomy agenda at COP31

Banco da Amazônia will participate in the 31st United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31) in Antalya, Turkey, from November 9 to 14. The institution aims to promote a bioeconomy agenda, sustainable finance, and the mobilization of international resources for projects within the Amazon region.

Operating primarily within the conference Blue Zone, the bank will be present at the Brazil Pavilion, coordinated by ApexBrasil and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the International Transport Pavilion and the World Climate Foundation summit. The goal is to increase the visibility of Brazil and the Amazon as destinations for international investment, presenting financial initiatives that balance forest conservation with regional development and income generation.
