Banco de Chile launches entrepreneurship contest with $200 million in prizes

Banco de Chile has launched the tenth edition of its National Entrepreneurship Challenge, Desafío Emprendedor. The competition aims to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem by distributing more than $200 million in prizes.

This year, the contest features a new structure divided into two main categories: Desafío Pyme, which targets micro, small, and medium enterprises looking to solve local or global needs, and Desafío Startup, which focuses on innovative business models with high scalability potential. The initiative provides participants with access to courses, tools, and professional networks to strengthen their projects.

Applications can be submitted free of charge through the bank's website until October 18, 2026.
