Banco de Tierra del Fuego explores financing with Chinese banks

Adrián Cosentino, president of the Banco de Tierra del Fuego (BTF), held a series of meetings in Beijing with major Chinese financial institutions to explore new financing lines and international cooperation.

During his official mission, Cosentino met with executives from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), the Silk Road Fund, and the China Development Bank (CDB). The discussions focused on developing joint financing schemes, including syndicated loans, structured co-financing, and tools related to foreign trade.

Cosentino noted that the bank aims to leverage the international scale of these institutions to enhance its cross-border financing capabilities and support the productive sector in Tierra del Fuego. The meetings with the Silk Road Fund specifically addressed potential cooperation in infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects.
