Banco Nación launches new loan options and weekend discounts in Argentina

Banco Nación announced a new personal loan product that allows borrowers to request up to 20 million Argentine pesos with a nominal annual rate of 56 % and a total effective cost of about 93 %. Applicants must have salary assignment, be below retirement age at loan maturity and authorize automatic debit of the installments.

At the same time, the bank rolled out a weekend promotion campaign offering cash‑back of up to 40,000 pesos on supermarket purchases, 20 % rebates at selected stores, and interest‑free installments on travel, electronics, motorcycles and home appliances. Specific offers include 12 interest‑free installments on domestic flights, 20 % duty‑free discounts with a 40,000‑peso monthly limit, and up to 24 interest‑free installments on durable goods.
