Banco Pichincha expands mental health support for employees
Banco Pichincha has strengthened its comprehensive wellness and occupational health program, targeting more than 6,300 active employees and their families in Ecuador. The initiative focuses on prevention, psychological support, and emotional well-being.
Since 2016, the institution has provided six free psychological sessions per year to employees and their direct dependents through its medical assistance insurance. Specialized cases are managed via the organization’s social work team and psychological services.
In March 2025, the bank inaugurated its first in-person psychological care center in Quito. A second facility is scheduled to open in Guayaquil on July 4 to expand specialized care. These programs currently have a national reach, covering all 24 provinces and 221 cantons in Ecuador.
