Banco Popular Dominicano recognized for digital transformation

Banco Popular Dominicano has been awarded the Excelencia Transformacional Americas All-Star at the SS&C Blue Prism Customer Excellence 2026 awards. The bank was the only winner selected from Latin America among more than 1,000 applicants. This recognition highlights the institution's advancements in intelligent automation and digital transformation.

In 2025, the bank's implementation of robotic process automation reduced response times in certain critical processes by up to 84%, enhancing service consistency and quality. Executive President Christopher Paniagua noted that intelligent automation has transformed operational efficiency and expanded capabilities.

In addition to these digital advancements, the bank held the fifth edition of 'Challenge Popular,' an internal innovation marathon for employees. The program involved 204 participants, with 50 selected to develop proposals aimed at improving client and employee experiences through innovative solutions.
