Banco Popular expands Lounge Popular at AILA with new departure space

Banco Popular Dominicano has expanded its Lounge Popular at Las Américas International Airport (AILA) by adding a new exclusive space for departing international passengers. This expansion doubles the capacity of the VIP service, which now features two distinct areas: one for arriving passengers and a new area located closer to boarding gates for those departing from Santo Domingo.

Since its opening in November 2021, the lounge has recorded over 400,000 visits. The new facilities are designed for holders of Mastercard Black and Visa Infinite Prestige cards, offering amenities such as wireless internet, personalized assistance, flight orientation, migratory process support, luggage handling, and complimentary food and beverages. The service operates 24/7 and requires a reservation at least 24 hours in advance via the Before Boarding platform.
