Banco Popular signs four-year sponsorship with Costa Rican Football Federation

The Costa Rican Football Federation (Fedefútbol) and Banco Popular y de Desarrollo Comunal have officially signed a four-year sponsorship agreement. Under this partnership, Banco Popular becomes the official bank of the Costa Rican national football team.

The alliance aims to support all national teams, including youth categories, and fund regional football projects. A key objective is to expand sports opportunities to provinces such as Limón, Puntarenas, and Guanacaste to ensure development extends beyond the Central Valley.

Bank customers and fans will receive specific benefits, including ticket pre-sales, discounts, promotions, and various sweepstakes related to matches and federation activities. The agreement was formalized in a press conference attended by Fedefútbol President Osael Maroto Martínez, Banco Popular General Manager Gina Carvajal Vega, and national team coach Fernando Batista.
