Banco Provincia launches new digital loan lines in Argentina

Banco Provincia has introduced new digital loan options for personal use and construction financing. The personal loan line allows customers, including public and private sector employees as well as retirees, to request up to 50,000,000 pesos. These loans feature flexible repayment terms of up to 72 months and can be processed entirely online via the Banca Internet Provincia (BIP) platform or the Cuenta DNI app, with funds typically credited within 24 business hours of approval.

Specifically for home improvement, the “Préstamo Acá Materiales de Construcción” line provides up to 50,000,000 pesos to be used at over 150 participating businesses. This credit can be used for items such as flooring, sanitary ware, paints, and even swimming pools, with repayment options of up to 72 monthly installments. Interest rates for construction loans start at 55% annually, depending on individual credit evaluations.

For the personal loan line, the bank utilizes the French amortization system with fixed monthly installments. To ensure financial stability, the monthly installment is generally capped at 35% of a client's net monthly income, though this limit increases to 40% for clients with existing mortgage loans at the same institution.
