Banco Santander and Racing Club launch sports innovation challenge

Banco Santander and Real Racing Club de Santander have introduced the ‘Santander X Racing Innovation Challenge’. This initiative targets startups, scaleups, and innovative companies to develop scalable solutions for the sports sector.

The program aims to modernize football management and the fan experience using emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital innovation. Participation is focused on four primary areas: sports performance and talent development, museums and heritage, fan experience and community engagement, and commerce and shopping experiences.

Selected companies will have the opportunity to present their projects to representatives from Racing de Santander and Banco Santander, as well as innovation and technology experts. Participants may also validate their solutions in real-world environments and gain international visibility through the Santander X ecosystem.
