Band of Brothers cast reunites for 25th anniversary

HBO Max celebrated the 25th anniversary of the acclaimed miniseries ‘Band of Brothers’ with a special event at the Billy Wilder Theater in Los Angeles. The celebration included an advance screening of the new Playtone documentary, ‘Band of Brothers: Legacy’, which premiered on September 9.

The event reunited several original cast members, including Neal McDonough, Matthew Settle, Matthew Leitch, Richard Speight Jr., Peter Youngblood Hills, Kirk Acevedo, Eion Bailey, and Alex Sabga-Brady. In addition to the cast, the evening honored the real-world military service members whose experiences in Easy Company, 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, inspired the production.

Guests included veterans and representatives from the National WWII Museum, USAA, and various UCLA ROTC programs. An exhibition of authentic memorabilia and archival costumes, such as those worn by actors portraying Major Richard Winters and Sergeant Denver Randleman, was also on display.
