Band of Brothers documentary to mark 25th anniversary

To mark the 25th anniversary of the acclaimed World War II miniseries ‘Band of Brothers’, HBO Max will release a new documentary titled ‘Band of Brothers: Legacy’ on September 9.

The documentary aims to provide an intimate look at the production and the enduring impact of the series, which follows the history of Easy Company of the 101st Airborne Division. It will feature new interviews with the series' stars and include previously unseen archival footage, photographs, and video diaries recorded during filming.

Created by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, the original series remains highly regarded by critics and is based on the 1992 non-fiction book by Stephen E. Ambrose.
