Banda di Bisceglie celebrates return from New York performance

The Banda di Bisceglie held a free homecoming concert, titled “Italia in Banda – Il ritorno,” at the Politeama Italia theater following their recent participation in the Columbus Day Parade on Fifth Avenue in New York City. Directed by Maestro Benedetto Grillo, the event celebrated the ensemble's role as the sole Italian band to participate in the Manhattan parade.

The international project was realized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of New York and supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Puglia Region. The American tour served as a cultural bridge and an opportunity to promote the musical heritage of the Puglia region internationally.

Following this celebration, the ensemble is shifting focus to the “Orta Nova Sound Lab,” a project aimed at youth training and the future of traditional band music, scheduled to begin in Orta Nova.
