Banda Sinfônica Jovem de Goiás to perform concert in Goiânia

The Banda Sinfônica Jovem de Goiás (BSJG) will perform the “Música que Conta Histórias” concert on Friday, September 11, at the Teatro Escola Basileu França in Goiânia. Conducted by maestro Gustavo Aprígio, the free event features works designed to convey narratives through melody.

The program includes Jean Sibelius’s “Finlandia,” Robert W. Smith’s “The Odyssey,” and George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” the latter featuring pianist Sebastian Calaça. The BSJG is composed of 60 students aged 14 to 26 and is part of the Escola do Futuro de Goiás em Artes Basileu França.
