Bandai announces Digimon Alysion mobile card game

Bandai has opened pre-registration for Digimon Alysion, a new free-to-play mobile card game for iOS and Android. Scheduled for release within 2026, the title will be available in 49 countries and regions.

The game adapts the core mechanics of the physical Digimon Card Game, including the “Memory System” and evolution mechanics. Players can build decks, participate in ranked matches and tournaments, and collect both existing digital versions of physical cards and exclusive new cards featuring unique illustrations and animations.

A central feature is an original story mode set in the universe of the web manga and light novel “Digimon Liberator.” This mode serves as a tutorial, following protagonist Kanata Hondo as she learns the game rules with the help of her friend Futre. Bandai has also announced a pre-registration campaign where reaching 200,000 sign-ups will grant players rewards such as card packs, MetalGarurumon, and WarGreymon.
