Bandai announces Digimon Beatbreak special edition Digital Monster COLOR devices

Bandai has announced the release of the “Digital Monster COLOR DIGIMON BEATBREAK EDITION” and accompanying “Digimon Case Iremon COLOR” to commemorate the final episode of the TV anime “DIGIMON BEATBREAK”.

The handheld devices will be available in two versions: “GLOWING DOWN COLOR” and “DIGIVOLUTION GEKKOMON COLOR”, priced at 7,700 yen each. Both models feature color LCD screens, rechargeable lithium-ion polymer batteries via USB Type-C, and allow users to raise approximately 30 different Digimon, including new characters from the anime. Gameplay includes battle mechanics driven by “e-pulse” button tapping and evolution sequences inspired by the animation. The devices also support communication with other “Digital Monster COLOR” and “Digimon Pendulum COLOR” series models.

Additionally, Bandai is releasing specialized storage cases in “LOUD PURPLE” and “LOUD PINK” for 1,980 yen. These cases allow for continued play and charging while the device is housed and can facilitate communication battles between two units.

Pre-orders are scheduled to run from September 27, 2026, through October 25, 2026, via the Premium Bandai online store, with products expected to ship in March 2027.
