Bandai Announces Naruto Card Game Global Launch 2027
Bandai Card Games has unveiled the Naruto Card Game, a new trading‑card game that pulls characters and story elements from the Naruto, Naruto: Shippuden and Boruto series. Each player builds a 51‑card deck plus five Chakra cards and one Summon card, centered on a Leader card; the aim is to reduce the opposing Leader's life total to zero. The game features five card types – Leader, Character, EX Character, Chakra and Summon – and the first wave of artwork includes Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Jiraiya and Itachi Uchiha.
The worldwide release is slated for summer 2027. Prior to launch, Bandai will showcase the game at a series of demo events, starting with Gen Con 2026 in Indianapolis (July 30‑August 2), followed by New York Comic Con, PAX Australia, Spiel Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca Comics & Games (late 2026). In‑store tutorial sessions are planned for January 2027, and organized play will lead to a future World Championship.
