Bandai announces new high-end Gundam collectible figure series

Bandai is expanding its Gundam-themed collectible offerings with several new high-end product announcements. The company is launching the ‘Exceed Model Trinity RX-78-2 Gundam’ series through its Gashapon brand. This new line features capsule-less, highly detailed bust-up models that can be combined into a single 20cm tall figure. The set includes three components: an exterior, an internal structure, and a core fighter cockpit. An online version priced at 1,850 yen includes specialized light and cable units to illuminate the head and cockpit, while a standard capsule version will be available for 1,500 yen starting in September 2026.

Additionally, Bandai Spirits has announced the ‘METAL ROBOT魂 <SIDE MS> ν Gundam HWS & Display Parts Set’. This expansion set is designed to enhance the existing ν Gundam figure with heavy weapon systems and display parts. The base ν Gundam figure is also scheduled for resale, with pre-orders beginning in September 2026 and a planned release in March 2027.
