Bandai expands Gundam Base retail presence to Osaka and Sydney

BANDAI SPIRITS is expanding its official Gundam merchandise retail presence with new flagship locations in Japan and Australia.

In Osaka, ‘THE GUNDAM BASE OSAKA’ is scheduled to open in February 2027. Located on the 11th floor of the LUCUA SOUTH commercial facility connected to JR Osaka Station, the store will span approximately 371 tsubo, making it one of the largest in western Japan. The facility will offer Gunpla plastic models, apparel, stationery, and exclusive immersive experiences such as special exhibits and assembly workshops.

In Australia, the first ‘The Gundam Base’ store and one of only four ‘Tamashii Nations’ stores globally will debut at Broadway Sydney. This expansion follows a successful pop-up tour in the country and aims to meet the high demand from Australian anime fans. The Sydney location will feature model kits, exclusive products, and collectible figurines from various series, including Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Demon Slayer.
