Bandai Namco adds Bob to Tekken 8 in Season 3 update

Bandai Namco has announced the return of the character Bob to Tekken 8 as part of the Season 3 content. Bob, a fighter known for his Freestyle Karate style that combines heavy hits with high agility, is the second additional character for the season.

Early access for Season 3 pass holders begins on August 19, 2026, while the character will be available for all other players starting August 24, 2026. To facilitate this release, Bandai Namco will perform server maintenance on August 19, during which all online content will be unavailable.

A patch is scheduled for release on August 20 at 0:00 CEST to support Bob's early access, correct unintended behaviors, and update the Tekken Shop. While specific patch notes have not been fully detailed, the update is intended to prepare the game for the new character's integration.
