Bandai Namco announces Digimon Story: Time Stranger expansion

Bandai Namco and developer Media. Vision have announced ‘A Hero’s Eternal Legacy’, a major expansion for the RPG Digimon Story: Time Stranger. The new content is scheduled for release in 2027.

Set three years after the primary conflict between the Agents and the Olympos XII, the expansion will feature a new protagonist and explore previously unknown regions of the digital world, Iliad. The narrative is expected to focus on themes of courage and friendship as the new hero seeks to become a legend.

A significant addition to the expansion is the inclusion of over 50 new Digimon, which will be integrated into the existing monster taming and turn-based strategic combat systems. The expansion will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
