Bandai Namco announces Digimon Story Time Stranger expansion for 2027

Bandai Namco has announced ‘A Hero’s Eternal Legacy’, a new expansion for the RPG Digimon Story Time Stranger, scheduled for release in 2027. Developed by Media Vision Inc., the expansion will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

The narrative is set three years after the major conflict between the Agents and the Olympos XII, which threatened both the human world and the Digital World: Iliad. This expansion will introduce a new protagonist and explore previously unvisited regions of Iliad.

Key features include the addition of more than 50 new Digimon, expanding the game’s team-building and evolution mechanics. The expansion will maintain the original game’s focus on strategic turn-based combat and the development of bonds between players and their Digimon.
