Tekken 8 announces Roger Jr. release date and Baki crossover

Bandai Namco has announced new downloadable content (DLC) for Tekken 8, revealed during the EVO France event. The upcoming roster addition is Roger Jr., a genetically modified boxing kangaroo and the son of the original character, Roger.

Roger Jr. is scheduled for early access on November 11, 2026, for Season 3 Character Pass holders, with a general release for all players on November 16 or 17, 2026. The character features a unique combat style involving commando wrestling, powerful strikes, and acrobatic moves.

The announcement also provided a first look at Yujiro Hanma, a guest character from the Baki the Grappler series. While a specific release date for Yujiro has not been confirmed, he is expected to join the game in Winter 2026/2027. A dedicated gameplay trailer for Yujiro is slated to premiere during the Tekken World Tour Finals on January 17, 2027.
