Bandai Namco launches new band IP project and member audition
Bandai Namco Filmworks and Bandai Namco Music Live have announced the launch of a new band IP project. To support this initiative, they are holding an audition titled ‘Bandai Namco Filmworks × Bandai Namco Music Live Band Member Audition Supported by Eggs,’ with promotional cooperation from the indie music platform Eggs.
The audition is seeking four female band members to fill the roles of vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. Successful candidates are expected to engage in active musical performances and may also be tasked with serving as the voice actors for characters within the new IP. Winners will receive professional instruction from experienced musicians.
Eligibility is restricted to female residents of Japan born between April 1, 2001, and April 1, 2011. The application period is scheduled from August 26, 2026, to October 14, 2026. Following a multi-stage selection process involving document reviews, online interviews, and in-person assessments, band activities are projected to commence in the spring of 2027.
