Bandai Namco reveals Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero roadmap through 2027

Bandai Namco has released a comprehensive content roadmap for the fighting game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, detailing updates and expansions planned through 2027.

Key upcoming features include the ‘Tower of Power’ mode, which offers a solo climbing challenge with increasing difficulty and rewards such as Ki Charge Aura customization. Other planned modes include ‘Mission 100 SP’ and ‘Survival Mode SP’. The roadmap also confirms that crossplay between PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) is expected to enter beta after the summer of 2027.

The ‘Super-Limit Breaking Neo’ DLC expansion is a major focus, introducing over 30 new characters—including Super 17, Bardock Super Saiyan, Champa, and Vegeta—alongside a new solo mode called ‘Limit Breaker Journey’. While this DLC is available on current consoles, it is slated for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in the spring of 2027.

Additionally, free updates will introduce new gameplay mechanics such as ‘Sparking! Boost’ and ‘Chain Blast’ to enhance combat dynamics.
