Bandai Namco to launch One Piece physical battle activity in Japan
Bandai Namco Experience will launch ‘ONE PIECE PIRATES CRISIS,’ a physical cooperative battle activity, at the Tondemi Heiwajima indoor athletic facility on October 9.
Based on the ‘One Piece’ anime, the experience allows players to immerse themselves in an original story where they work alongside characters like Luffy and Zoro to battle rivals such as Buggy, Big Mom, and Kaido. The activity consists of three stages requiring physical movement, such as dodging attacks and using smash sticks to defend treasures.
Participants' performance is measured as ‘Nakama-ryoku’ (comradeship power), which assigns a pirate crew rank based on their score. Ticket sales are scheduled to begin on August 24, with options including a standalone experience for 2,000 yen or a set ticket including 120 minutes of general Tondemi activities.
