Bandai, Nintendo Release Animal Crossing Pon de Couleur Powder

Bandai's lifestyle division and Nintendo have announced a new licensed cosmetic product, the "Pon de Couleur Animal Crossing Multi‑Color Powder," scheduled for release on 21 September 2026. The 12‑color set features designs of Animal Crossing characters such as Tanukichi, Shizue, and Mamekichi, each packaged in a compact 42 mm case. The powder can be used as both eyeshadow and face colour, and each case includes a "reaction seal" for personal customization. The product is priced at ¥550 (tax included) per unit and will be sold through regular retail channels and a planned gashapon version.

The launch follows Bandai's recent collaborations with other Nintendo franchises, extending the company's "Pon de Couleur" line—originally known for collaborations with Super Mario, Kirby and Precure—into the Animal Crossing universe. The release targets fans of the game and collectors of licensed cosmetics.
